You tell us about the business and what is not working, we ask questions, and between us we find out whether the answer is a new site, a system running behind the business, or something smaller than either. The first conversation is free and there is nothing to commit to at the end of it.

You tell us what the business does, who it is for, and what is getting in the way. We ask a lot of questions, mostly about how things run day to day rather than about technology. By the end you should have a clearer idea of what is worth fixing first, whether or not you go on to work with us. If there is something worth building, we follow up with a scope and a quote before anything is designed.

To keep things simple for you, we usually look after the domain and hosting ourselves, since keeping the site running is part of our job. If you would rather hold them yourself, we hand them over as set out in the agreement. The details depend on the project and are agreed up front.

The first conversation is free, and nothing is owed for it. Before it ends, we tell you what we would do next and why, and you decide whether to go ahead. If you do, the scope and the price go into a written agreement, and a deposit starts the work.
