Dashboards
The numbers that matter on one screen.
A dashboard puts the few figures you steer by on one screen, drawn from where they already live, so the numbers you check are current, not last month's export.
Is this you?
- Decisions wait until someone builds a spreadsheet
- Different people quote different versions of the same number
- You are not sure which figures actually matter
What's included
- A short list of the figures worth watching, agreed with you
- Data drawn from the places it already lives
- One clear screen, readable on a phone
- Access for the people who act on it
When it's worth it
Worth it when decisions wait on someone assembling a spreadsheet. If nobody would act on the number, it does not need a screen.
How we'd work it out
We start by asking which decisions the numbers should inform. A figure that would not change what anyone does is left off the screen.
