Terms of use
Last updated
These cover the website. Any project we take on is agreed with you separately, in writing, before work starts.
What these terms cover
These terms apply to this website, digitalfridaystudios.com, run by Digital Friday Studios of Davao City, Philippines ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. They are short on purpose.
Projects are agreed separately
The site describes what we do in general terms. Nothing on it is a quote, an offer or a contract. Getting in touch, through the form or by email, does not commit you to anything, and it does not commit us either.
If we work together, the scope, price and terms of that project are agreed with you in writing before any work starts. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the project agreement applies to the project.
Using the site
You are welcome to browse, share, and link to anything here. Please don't:
- try to break, overload, or get unauthorized access to the site or its hosting
- copy it automatically at a volume that affects how it runs for others
- send spam, or anything unlawful or abusive, through the contact form
- present the site, or our work on it, as your own
Our work and other people's
The design, text, graphics, and code of this site, and the designs we show on it, are our work and are protected by the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 8293). Please ask before reusing any of it commercially. We are usually happy to talk about it.
The designs shown are self-directed concepts; the businesses in them are invented. The typefaces are open-source fonts used under their own licenses, and the names and marks of other businesses belong to their owners.
Other sites and services
The site links to, and in places embeds, things we don't control: social platforms, hosting, the service that delivers the contact form, and live previews of our demo builds. Those have their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their content or how they run. What each one sees is set out in the privacy policy.
Accuracy and liability
We keep the site accurate and running, but we provide it as it is. We can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes, and nothing on it is professional advice for your particular situation. That is what the first conversation is for.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss that comes from using the site. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that Philippine law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If any part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
If something goes wrong, please write to us first at digitalfridaystudios@gmail.com. Most things are sorted out faster that way.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we update this page and the date at the top. The version on this page is the one that applies when you use the site. Questions can go through the contact page or to digitalfridaystudios@gmail.com.
